Our deluxe unit is a tiny home situated in a peaceful part of the property and has everything you need for a comfortable stay – fully self-contained with a queen size bed, modern kitchen and private en suite bathroom. The room is spacious and outside there is a private deck with a barbecue and a view out to over the garden, river estuary and sea beyond.

Your stay includes a choice of:

  • A generous continental breakfast consisting of cereals, fruit salad, homemade bread or toast with a homemade jam and cheese, or
  • A cooked breakfast consisting of eggs of your choice, homemade hashbrowns and baked beans, char-grilled tomatoes, bacon, sausage, tea and coffee

We also cater for allergies and special dietary requirements.

Penguin Palace Cabin

Single occupancy: $135 per night

Double occupancy: $150 per night

This characterful cabin affectionately named ‘Penguin Palace’ is over 100 years old, built in the NZ pioneering days and used as living quarters for forestry and railway workers. It has a double bed that open out to a large communal covered deck with seating and a barbecue. There is a shared bathroom and kitchen with seating area.
